The Mentor Engagement Program provides consistent relational guidance to participants enrolled in:

  • Young People Advisory Cohort (YPAC)

  • Young People Future Leaders (YPFL)

Mentorship strengthens:

  • Accountability

  • Emotional support

  • Skill cultivation

  • Long-term stability

This program aligns with OLLC’s broader mission to build resilient, purpose-driven individuals across the DMV region.

The Mentor Engagement Program aims to:

  • Provide consistent adult mentorship (minimum 6 month engagement).

  • Increase participant accountability within the 5P framework.

  • Improve measurable personal development outcomes.

  • Ensure structured documentation for safety and grant compliance.

  • Foster healthy relational leadership.

Mentor expectations:

  • Weekly check-in calls

  • Monthly in-person engagement

  • Weekly progress documentation

  • Boundary training

  • Staff oversight
