Here’s what you can expect from this journey.
What You'll Learn
YPFL is a 6-month leadership and life-development experience built around:
Self-discovery
Healing and self-awareness
Skill building
Mentorship
Community connection
Preparation for your future
You don’t need to have everything figured out to be here.
You do need to be willing to show up and try.
each week may include
Check-ins (mental, emotional, and practical)
Group conversations and guided dialogue
Meals and shared time
Goal setting or planning activities
Guest mentors, speakers, or trips
Reflection and self-assessment
Some weeks will feel lighter. Some weeks may feel challenging. Both are part of growth.
What We Expect From You
Attend weekly sessions as consistently as possible
Communicate if you can’t make a session
Participate honestly and respectfully
Be open to learning and self-reflection
Respect the experiences and stories of others
Take responsibility for your growth
You don’t have to share everything — but what you do share should be real.

You may be matched with a mentor based on your goals and interests
Mentors offer guidance, not judgment
Therapy or counseling may be available but is always optional
Asking for help is encouraged and respected

This is a shared space. To keep it safe:
Personal stories stay within the group
Disrespect, harassment, or violence are not tolerated
Everyone is expected to contribute towards a supportive environment
community & safety
If concerns arise, One Love Life Center will take steps to protect everyone involved.
Transportation assistance may be available
Support is tied to participation and communication
Let us know if you’re facing barriers to attend
transportation & support
To complete the program, participants must:
Attend at least 80% of sessions
Participate in check-ins and reflections
Engage in community service activities
Complete the final program survey

At the end of the journey, we celebrate your growth and accomplishments.
